Leprosy eliminated from Nepal

Nepal becomes 10th country in South-East Asia Region to eliminate leprosy as a public health problem. This landmark achievement was possible because of the commitment of the national authorities as well as support from the Nippon Foundation, Sasakawa Memorial Health Foundation and WHO.
