Bi-regional Training Workshop on HIV Drug
Resistance Database in New Delhi,
11-13 October 2006
A 3-day
workshop on HIV drug resistance data management took place in New Delhi, India from 11-13 October 2006.
Participants from China, Cambodia, India,
Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand
and Vietnam
attended the workshop. This training was conducted in conjunction with WHO HQ
and CDC Global AIDS Programme, Atlanta.
The workshop introduced the participants to the HIV drug resistance
computerised database and oriented them to data entry, data analysis, and
report preparation. Suggestions of the participants to improve the database
are being incorporated and the revised database will be uploaded on the SEARO
website in early 2007
