Goal
All countries of the Region achieve and sustain leprosy
elimination at the national level and further reduce the burden of leprosy
with substantial reductions in annual new case detections.
Objectives
 All countries of the Region achieve and
sustain elimination at the national level;
For large countries, wherever appropriate,
achieve sub-national elimination as determined by such countries;
Progressively reduce annual new case
detections through timely case detection, prompt treatment and achievement of
high cure rates, and
Ensure and sustain quality leprosy services.
