All MHS on-going
projects have a special focus on women as they play a major role in caring
not only for children but also for any sick relation at home.
Specifically to
address the needs of homeless mentally ill women a project is being developed
to provide them with shelter and treatment in a least restrictive
environment. The model developed by the Non-governmental Organization – The Banyan based in Chennai is being
examined by WHO.
