      41% of male and 1.8% of female adults (15+years) smoke daily[1]

      10 million people currently malnourished could have an adequate diet if money spent on tobacco were spent on food instead

      Bangladesh is a party to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC)

      Bangladesh has a comprehensive tobacco control legislation.
