Memorandum of Understanding for Pharmacovigilance of Medicines for Kala Azar and other Vector Borne Diseases

In an important step towards monitoring drug safety in the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) and Directorate of National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP) with the WHO Country Office for India, as the technical partner. The MoU is aimed at ensuring drug safety in Kala-Azar and other vector borne diseases treatment.

The MoU was signed in New Delhi on 3 August 2016.
