WHO Indonesia Holds Health Care Quality Workshops

WHO Country Office for Indonesia will hold two workshops related to ensuring the quality of health care and services in the country.

The first workshop is “Workshop on Using Health Technology Assessment (HTA) for Priority Setting in Indonesia” which will be held on 25-29 April 2016 at JS Luwansa Hotel and Convention Center.

This workshop involve our international partners (HITAP, Thailand; NICE, UK; University of York, UK; University Washington, US, WHO headquarters, Indonesian Ministry of Health, Indonesian HTA Committee, University of Indonesia, University of Gadjah Mada, University of Airlangga, and University of Hasanuddin.

The second workshop will be held on 24-25 May 2016 in Jakarta. It is on “Building patient and family capacity to prepare for patient engagement to improve quality of health services”. This workshop brings together patients, patient organisations and non-governmental organisations to discuss about how patients could be empowered and contribute to improving the quality of health care in health facilities.
