The 72nd World Health Assembly (WHA72)

Nepal's Permanent Mission to United Nations in Geneva.

The 72nd World Health Assembly, WHO’s highest decision-making body, will include 4000 delegates from WHO’s 194 Member States and partner organizations.

This year, Nepal will focus on "Universal health coverage: leaving no-one behind."

The main functions of the Assembly are to determine the policies of the Organization, appoint the Director-General, supervise financial policies, and review and approve the proposed programme budget. The Health Assembly is held annually in Geneva, Switzerland.
