Orientation for New Medical Graduates
In early 2013, Ministry of Health in collaboration with WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, USAID and HADIAK and World Bank organized an orientation programme, for 406 doctors who graduated in November 2012, at the National Institute for Health.
The goal of the orientation programme was to introduce new medical graduates to all aspects of national health system.
Due to large numbers new medical graduates were divided in two batches of 203. Each batch was further split into 5 classes of 40-41 students. The duration of the orientation programme was eight days for each batch. The orientation programme was conducted on: 14-22 January and 28 January-5th February.
